Have you ever before in your career been confronted with different cultural settings like in this case the Greek?

No not really.  I know only a bit about Greek Mythology, but this has been an amazing learning experience and I constantly strive to know as much as I can so I will feel better prepared for my role.

What was your first reaction when you got notice that you were engaged for the show?

I was very excited, but not exactly sure what to expect. I did know however, that since Jillina was producing the show, along with her husband Paul’s music, that I would be working with very experienced professionals and that the potential was easy to recognize.

I think this show is different in every aspect of other belly dance shows I have seen.  The dancers’ talent levels are second to none as well as the level of production is at a high capacity. Though those two facts can be compared to other shows, other unique aspects of the show cannot.  For example, the story line infused into the belly dance concept is something that I have not seen done yet.  All the dance pieces have there unique story to tell while they are all intertwined to complete an epic story.

Part 6...
And here at last is one of the male roles in „Belly Dance Evolution“.  Today Ozzy answers our questions:
Which role do you play and dance in the show?

I play the role of Thor the Thunder God. I am playing this character but as well as the lead drummer in the show.

Also, the diversity of dance is something new and unique to this show.  It is not just belly dancing.  Belly dancing acts are the base platform for the show but by no means are we limited to that genre. There is Persian dances, Kafkaz and of course our two Georgian male dancers bring something that has never been done before in a belly dance production.
The Audience can expect nothing short of an epic adventure into culture, dance and music with a great story for the finishing touch.

Can’t wait to meet you in Germany, Ozzy.
