My article will be featured as the afterward in the Rubber Duck book published by Baby Tattoo and featured in the international high art magazine Eyemaze. Yes, I believe that you are referring to my blue winged corset. Louis and I worked together to create the beautiful piece of wearable art. I have always loved the motif of wings and grew up idealizing artists such as Luis Royo, Boris Vallejo and Michael Parkes who depicted strong, sensual, powerful women in their pieces. Since then, I’ve sought to bring my visions to reality and have been able to by collaborating with Louis Fleischauer on my costumes and visions.

How did you fare since your German “adventures” two years ago?
While my career as a belly dancer has fared quite well since that time, my own person has fared even better since my experience with those promoters and the belly dance community who stepped up and organized a last minute tour to save what had fallen apart in the German part of our European tour continues to inspire my belief in the goodness of people and the love of the divine feminine that belly dance inspires in all of us. I carry that humility in me at all times and allow it to come through in my dance. I also carry the German belly dance scene in a very special place in my heart.
