… Of course you may publish the legal statement regarding ® anywhere you wish, and do translate it.

Technically the registered trademark extends only in the US, however we are asking everyone to make the attribution ® and ownership statement so all affiliates of FCBD® have a consistent presence worldwide. We are pursuing registered trademark status in other countries, so if you'd like to just use ™ (™ means you are pursuing status, ® means you've got it) that is permissible as well,but we thought that ® would just save the trouble

of going back in to make the changes later.
